The Spirit of Alcohol is for helping people to cope with their bad childhood experiences where they think they were bad.
Children are always told that the Boogie Man will come and get them if they are bad and they believe the story. So, when bad things happen as it always does, the children internalize it to think that they were bad to have the bad things happen to them. The child grows up but the negative thoughts that they are bad stays with them.The Spirit of Alcohol wants all children, even when they have aged, to feel special.
