DISPUTE

I am the Spirit of Dispute.
I like to argue my point of view.
And think I am right even when I am wrong.
I do not listen to other people’s versions of truth.
Having defence is my only position.
Defending my point of view.
And knocking yours down.
How foolish to think that I know it all because I do not.
How much better it would be if I would just listen to another’s point of view with an open mind and open heart?
