Let go of your assumptions.

When you think of betrayal you think someone is out to deceive you.
You think someone is intentionally going to betray you.
But it is something else.
You have trust issues.
You want that verified for you.
Spirit provides the proof you want to validate that indeed you do have trust issues.
The other person has rejection issues.
They cannot say the truth because if they do, they will be rejected by you.
Betrayal is a cover for people with trust issues with people with fears of rejection.
