I am the Spirit of Embarrassed.
I can laugh at my hurts when I do something stupid.
But if someone saw me, I would be really embarrassed. I can be okay with embarrassing myself when I’m alone.
It’s harder to accept with people around to witness my disaster or misfortune.
But hearing the laughter of friends and family, seeing them cry laughing tears and hold their stomach pains makes the embarrassment worthwhile for all.
I think it’s best not to ask if I’m okay as it just makes the hurt more painful especially to my ego.
It’s fun to laugh at one’s stupid mistakes but it’s better to laugh together.
